Conventions, Meetings, & Banquets
DeVos Place® hosts a wide variety of events over the course of a year. Please refer to our calendar of events to determine when your group will be in Grand Rapids.
Conventions, meetings and banquets are generally private events. Check with your company or club for specific information.
Public parking is available under DeVos Place® by entering either on Michigan Street next to the Grand River or on Lyon Street between the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel and DeVos Place®. The Lyon Street entrance is also located next to the river.
If attending an event in our new Ballroom park on the south end of the lot and take the elevator to the Ballroom entrance. If attending an event in DeVos Performance Hall or the DeVos Place® exhibit halls stay on the north end of the lot. The elevator is located on the Monroe Street end of the lot.
Conventions may have concession stands open, but this is based on an individual preference with each organization. Outside food and beverages are not allowed. Check our Downtown Information page for restaurants in the area if your group doesn’t have meals planned in advance. There is a wide variety to choose from.

From the new state-of-the-art DeVos Place to an intimate boardroom, Grand Rapids offers convention and meeting facilities for every type of event. The new centerpiece is the $220 million DeVos Place with a total of 250,000 square-feet of meeting and convention space in the heart of downtown.
